Oceans Edge Retail Stores (Pty) Ltd is a subsidiary of the Pure Ocean Aquaculture group, whose main focus is to develop and grow the Aquaculture industry in South Africa. Oceans Edge Retail Stores will be supported by Oceans Edge Trading (Pty) Ltd (OET), another subsidiary of Pure Ocean. OET is the wholesale arm of the group that also provide distribution, processing and co-packing services to the wholesale industry. The relationship between the Retail and the Trading groups will ensure that the best quality and variety of fresh fish is consistently available to our customers.

Oceans Edge Retail Stores are a new chain of upmarket fresh fish outlets. The first store opened in July 2010 in Sea Point, Cape Town and is to be followed by a chain of dedicated retail seafood stores situated across the major metropolitan areas of South Africa.

The core offering is a wide range of fresh and live seafood, backed by the best available quality of complementary frozen seafood products. This offering will be supported in-store by top quality service and assistance. Oceans Edge Retail Stores will also provide customers with easy to make recipes highlighting the product sold in store.
